The Ulladulla Milton Lions Club, supported by locals, community groups, young people, volunteers and local businesses. A Community Advisory Committee will be formed soon, open for expressions of interest for community members to join.

Yes. Early concept designs are beginning, based on what the community has already shared through surveys, conversations and meetings.

These concepts are starting points only and will continue to evolve with community feedback.

No. Protecting open space and preserving the character of the park - including its trees – is one of the community’s strongest priorities. Any improvements will keep the park feeling open, natural and welcoming.

Because locals have asked for them. Our survey of 863 people showed clear support for safe, low-noise youth spaces. These ideas are being explored in early concepts and will be refined with community input.

Modern skate and pump tracks are designed using low-noise materials, smart placement and natural landscaping. Noise levels are a key factor in design and will be addressed in every stage of planning.

A fenced dog off-leash area is one of the most popular requests. It helps keep dogs away from the playground and busy walkways, and creates a safe, designated space for dogs and their owners.

The aim is balance. Improvements will be carefully planned so the park remains relaxed, spacious and comfortable. Activities will be spread out to avoid congestion.

No. Burrill Lake’s plan will be uniquely shaped by our community. We’re learning from successful examples but tailoring everything to Burrill Lake’s character.

Through surveys, drop-ins, markets, emails, one-on-one chats, on-site walk-throughs and the upcoming Advisory Committee. Every comment - supportive, concerned or unsure - helps shape the concepts.

Funding for the Lions Park Burrill Lake Community-Led Project will come from a combination of government grants, donations, partnerships and fundraising activities led by the Ulladulla Milton Lions Club Inc, alongside support from other community organisations and local groups. The project is being delivered in stages, with works progressing as funding is secured.

Please tell us. The whole point of this process is to gather all perspectives, refine the ideas and make sure the park works for everyone.

We are in the early concept design stage, using community feedback to shape the first visual ideas. These are not final and will be revised with the community’s help.
